Senior Demand Planner

Responsible for the demand planning activities in the Region, assuring the achievement of service level requirements/targets are met to improve the Wholesale Demand Planning Process. This individual must ensure that guidelines in terms of level of service level and Forecast Accuracy are respected.

• In close cooperation with Sales Dpt., review historical sales trends, research demand drivers and prepare forecast data including recommendations and actions based on buying patterns of key customers and impact of promotions and events on demand.
• Support the continuous improvement of the Wholesale Demand Planning Process through the finalization and implementation of appropriate workflows and related supporting tools in line with strategy and management indications.
• Be the pivotal communication point between Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain and guarantee a prompt and constant flow of priorities and relevant information.
• Support the development of statistical forecast models consistently with the Global Planning strategy and in line with the Business Model.
• Support the Global S&OP process coordinating Data gathering and analysis, ensure on time outcomes transmission and collaborate with Sales Dpt. to identify and resolve discrepancies between forward-looking sales forecasts and demand forecasts.
• Provide a proactive support to continuously improve customer service and simultaneously reduce finished goods inventory in line with the Management indication and Company strategy.
• Support implementation and maintenance of a reporting system to analyze the main Demand Planning KPI.
• Ensure constant and correct reviews and updates of the ERP and forecasting tool relevant Planning parameters.

• Relevant prior experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting
• Eyewear Industry background is a plus as well as a significant experience in businesses with short product lifecycles and high-mix (fashion, consumer goods, electronics, etc.).
• The candidate has to be a strong team player and communicator with entrepreneurship autonomy and problem solving skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities are required
• Advanced Excel User, SAP, JDA and Access Knowledge is a plus.
