Gucci pays homage to Chinese New Year with a dedicated colour version of a new and distinctive oversized square-shaped sunglasses model.
Reimagined in honour of the festivity, the style is enriched with the hues thought to bring luck and good fortune at this time of year.
To launch this special edition, the House has unveiled a dedicated campaign visual featuring brand ambassador Ni Ni.
The actress is pictured wearing the sunglasses while taking a canal tour on a traditional Chinese boat in the historic town of Wuzhen.
The exclusive Chinese New Year sunglasses incorporate Gucci’s emblematic Horsebit symbol.
Crafted from lightweight metal, the style features the iconic hues associated with Chinese New Year: red for good fortune and happiness, and gold for prosperity.
Burgundy gradient lenses are combined with a golden frame, enriched with dark red acetate tips.
Elegant and timeless, the retro-looking style is further enhanced by the addition of the Gucci logo in lettering.
